Welcome to Morag's Milk Bar, a charming café nestled in the heart of Almond Valley, Millfield, Livingston Village. This delightful spot promises a heartwarming experience, whether you're looking for a cozy place to unwind or a quick bite to refuel.

Morag's Milk Bar stands out with its homey atmosphere, drawing inspiration from its origins as a former mill. The character-filled space invites you to relax as you enjoy a steaming cup of coffee or a delicious meal. The welcoming staff adds to the ambiance, making you feel right at home as they serve you with care and a friendly smile.

On the menu, you'll find a selection that caters to every palate—both adults and children alike. The café excels in comfort food, and according to local patrons, their baked potato is a must-try. Reviewers like Jimmy Lees rave about the “large, well-cooked, and buttered” potatoes, with the combination of cheese and beans proving to be a customer favorite. Compliments for cleanliness and efficient service abound, making Morag's a reliable choice.

On quieter days, like when Duncan Wallace visited, you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, although he did encounter some minor hiccups with the WiFi. Nevertheless, once connected, the tranquil environment allows for leisurely conversations over coffee. Speaking of coffee, while Jonathon Watkins noted that it could be on the weaker side, the accommodating staff even offered him a complimentary cup after an accidental spill—an act of kindness that truly reflects the café's commitment to customer satisfaction.

For those visiting with little ones, the extensive menu and the on-site large soft play area next door make Morag's Milk Bar an ideal stop. Parents can enjoy the homely feel of the café while the kids explore the soft play, ensuring that everyone enjoys their experience. As Kim Kjaerside noted, there is “a good selection of food for both adults and kids,” making it a family-friendly destination.

Whether you're seeking a fulfilling meal or simply a space to relax, Morag's Milk Bar delivers a delightful café experience enriched by its history, friendly service, and community vibe. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal and create cherished memories in the heart of Livingston Village.

WiFi wouldn't work consequently the app was a pain to download, finally got the app and it won't let you select more than one soft drink so have to go for one back out and back on again. Other than that it was very quiet when we visited so quite relaxed once we'd identified the one phone that would get the WiFi

Themed cafe fitting in well with the style of the centre. We had very good service. We dropped a cup of coffee on the way out and were given a free one when we went to pay for a new one. Coffee was slightly weak though.

The cafe has a homely feel and a lot of character from the old mill and the staff were friendly. There is a good selection of food for both adults and kids. Lots of seats available and you'll find a large softplay next door.
